Employees credit success at GDS International to many reasons

Talk to any employee who has worked at GDS International and you will find them voice the same opinion about a career with GDS. ‘Satisfying’, ‘a great work atmosphere’, ‘fantastic opportunities’, ‘rewarding career’ et cetera are a few of the common things that almost all employees speak of.

Founded by Spencer Green, GDS International is among the top events and publishing companies across the globe today and thanks to its reputation attracts top talents at universities who dream of starting their career with the company.

Alex Sobol, 24, was one such ambitious graduate who had high hopes for a great career. Having done his graduation at The University of Delaware, Alex began a career with GDS on June 4th, 2007 and today he feels that he could not have scripted his life any better.

Alex had always wanted to work in an energetic work environment that appreciates hard-work and dedication and today he is more than glad that he found GDS.

“When I came in for my interview with GDS in March of 2007, I was really taken back by the atmosphere in the office. Every single person I was introduced too – every project I was informed about – topped off with a very specific game plan during my interview, all made working for GDS an easy decision.”

Alex was made part of one of the most progressive and ambitious projects of the company which was headed by the office’s top sales manager. Today, as his anniversary with the company approaches, Alex has this to say “As my one-year anniversary with the company approaches, I have enjoyed the opportunity of managing my first industry focused strategy summit for GDS. This experience has been absolutely amazing. I now have the privilege of managing and directing new members of the company, which has been very rewarding. I believe that my success so far with GDS is for many reasons. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the most seasoned sales professionals in the world. I have met some of the most well-known industry executives on the continental United States, and I’m in a situation where there is always room to grow. I never imagined I’d enjoy my first job out of school this much.”
